Terms of Service
These terms are a plain-language summary of how barbershops use ChairTender. They are being finalised alongside our formal service agreement and data processing agreement. By using ChairTender you agree to the current terms.
The service
ChairTender, operated by Fluxt Ltd, provides a booking page, an AI booking assistant over WhatsApp and SMS, missed-call recovery, reminders, and optional no-show protection for barbershops in the United Kingdom.
Your account and use
You are responsible for the accuracy of your shop details, services, prices, and hours, and for using the service lawfully and fairly. Messaging volumes should be consistent with your plan.
Fees
ChairTender is charged as a flat monthly fee, billed through Stripe, with no commission on your bookings and no VAT added. You can cancel in line with your plan.
Your clients' data
You remain the data controller for your clients' personal data. We act as your processor and handle that data only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and data processing agreement. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Payments and no-show fees
Where you enable card on file or deposits, payments are processed by Stripe and your shop is the merchant of record. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Ending the service
Either party may end the agreement in line with the plan. On ending, you may export your data, and we will delete or return it as agreed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
